We're More Than Just a Care Service
At Our TLC, our professional and friendly team of mental health specialists are here to provide the highest standard of care for you in your home or in our 66-bed supported living facility. We understand that everyone’s needs are unique, which is why our support services are tailored to you, based on your individual needs. Your well-being and care are of prime importance to us, and we promise to cater our care to respect your individuality and dignity. You can also have peace of mind that our service is delivered with the Care Quality Commission’s ‘Essential Standards of Quality and Safety’, so you can be assured that you or your loved ones are in safe and trusted hands.

Who We Are and What We Do
Based in Saltaire, we are a family-run business that provides specialist mental health care to individuals across North and West Yorkshire. We support people who want to stay in their own home by providing domiciliary care, alongside providing supported living facilities that accommodate 66 beds.
In our office, we have an experienced duty support worker 7 days a week between the hours of 9-5 with access to our electronic client records and rotas, to respond to direct calls, enquiries, and concerns as required. We’re aware that our clients are vulnerable, and we meet regularly to discuss concerns and will pass on information in reviews with care coordinators and care teams. Senior support staff and managers are regularly invited and in attendance at inter-agency review meetings including MACP, MARAC, and CPA.

Putting the People We Support at the Heart of Everything We Do - Our TLC Offers:
One-to-One Support
Home care offers one-to-one support from your dedicated carer, ensuring you receive their full attention. This can involve supporting you as a person in your daily living with tasks such as helping you to prepare food to taking your medication.

Home Care
We know that there’s no place like home. That’s why our service allows you to stay in the comfort and security of your own home, while still receiving the care you need.

Custom Support Plans
Enjoy a care plan that is tailored to your specific needs, preferences, and lifestyle. Whether you require help with daily activities, medical assistance, or companionship, our approach ensures that all aspects of your care are considered.

Personal Care
Our carers will prompt you to take care of your own personal care. Encouraging you to brush your teeth, shower, wash your hair, prioritise skincare, and take care of your nutrition.

Companionship
Living alone can sometimes feel lonely and isolating, which is why our carers are on hand to offer emotional support, a friendly presence, and meaningful conversations with those we care for.

Assistance with Meaningful Activities
We provide assistance with meaningful activities, whether it’s community engagement, voluntary work, group activities, support going to your appointments, or taking part in physical exercise.

Wellness Recovery Action Plans
Our recovery plans allow you to spend more time with loved ones, either at your home or theirs, with a flexible care plan. This means you get the mental health support and care you need after leaving hospital, but can still enjoy those home comforts.

A Comprehensive Approach
Our comprehensive approach means that we consider several factors when determining your care plan. This includes assessing your physical health, mental health, emotional wellbeing, and practical requirements, before tailoring a care plan to you.

Household Assistance
We know that housework can often feel overwhelming. Our team is there to support you in keeping on top of your cleaning and keeping a comfortable and habitable home.

A Sitting Scheme
Our sitting scheme is there to provide support to you as a carer. It gives you peace of mind that when you need a break, whether it’s day or night, someone can step in and be on hand to help your loved one.

At Our TLC, we’re passionate about the people we work with and go above and beyond to support them in living a better life. We tailor our care to meet each person’s unique needs, whether that be mental health diagnoses, sensory impairments, or various other disabilities and needs.
